For our malted wheat bread we use granary flour. Granary is a trade-marked malted wheat flour for the last 60 years. It has the distinct taste of malted wheat grains and is a huge family favourite across Britain. The traditional process used to produce the malted wheat flakes dates back several hundred years and is believed to have been discovered by the Benedictine Monks of Burton Abbey.
